I’ve completed specialized training in newborn safety, posing, wrapping, lighting, and angles to ensure your baby is handled with the utmost care. My fully equipped studio on FM 1488 includes a curated collection of outfits, wraps, tiebacks, props, and professional posing tools so you can simply arrive and relax. I offer newborn‑only sessions as well as packages that include maternity, with pricing ranging from $195 to $395 depending on the number of images you’d like. Every session is crafted to create soft, timeless portraits you’ll treasure forever.

Newborn photography holds a special place in my heart because these first days are so fleeting, yet so profoundly meaningful. There’s something incredibly beautiful about being trusted to document a baby’s earliest moments — their tiny features, their peaceful expressions, the way they fit so perfectly in your arms. I love creating a calm, safe space where families can slow down and simply soak in this new chapter. Animals have a magic all their own, and puppies especially can bring an energy to a session that’s unpredictable, hilarious, and incredibly sweet. I’ve done my maternity and newborn photoshoot with Sara and she did not disappoint! She takes her time to make sure lighting, poses and small details are perfect. With a fully equipped newborn studio, professional lighting, and a calm, safety‑focused workflow, your session becomes an easy, peaceful experience from start to finish. Newborn sessions in my studio are designed to be calm, cozy, and completely baby‑led. Before your session, you’ll receive a detailed prep guide and a short questionnaire so I can tailor the experience to your preferences and create the look you love. I keep the studio warm and comfortable to help your baby stay sleepy and relaxed, and most little ones are fed right before arrival or as soon as you get here to ensure a smooth start. Between every session, all props, fabrics, and surfaces are fully disinfected, and I always wear a facemask to protect your baby’s health. My goal is to create a safe, peaceful environment where you can simply enjoy the moment while I capture the sweetest details of these early days.

The newborn Portrait Process

My newborn collections are designed to give families flexibility while ensuring beautiful, meaningful images. The $195 package is a simple but stunning wrapped session that includes at least three coordinated setups, with the option to add family for $25. The $295 collection offers a mix of posed and wrapped images, featuring several table poses and multiple wrapped setups, and family can be added for $25 as well. My most popular option is the $395 premium session, which includes even more setups and family images, plus a complimentary mini maternity session at one of my preferred locations—or you can apply those maternity images toward your newborn gallery if you prefer. All sessions include 15–30 edited images, with the option to purchase additional favorites.

FAqs as a Northern Houston Area Maternity Photographer

Q. When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?

A: I like to do my newborn in the first 21 days of life. I have done them later in life (up to 3 months) but the older they get the less they look like a newborn and the more alert they are.

Q: What should we bring to the session?

A: I have a fully stocked studio from a client/newborn closet, to wraps, tiebacks/bonnets/caps/halos, backgrounds, floordrops, props for posing, pretty much everything you need to have to capture these amazing images. You will be provided a prep guide with everything you need such as bottles if bottle feeding, pacis, diapers, and wipes.

Q: Can I bring something personalized to include in the session

A: Absolutely, I love personalizing your session. When you book I will send over a questionnaire, just let me know what item you want to include and I will come up with a background to go with it.

Q: How long does a newborn session usually take?

A: This depends on baby. I send over a prep guide before the shoot to help insure a smooth newborn shoot. Some babies are harder to settle, but I make sure to provide an environment to keep baby as comfortable as possible to help the session move along. They usually last between 1.5-2.5 hours, but I have had some that finish in under an hour or go longer than 3
